Job Estimate Screen
The Job Costing module in Contractor Essentials© allows you to enter basic job estimate information for any job. This information allows you to see comparison data between estimated and actual costs as the job progresses. Job estimate data allows the system to report back percent spent and percentage of completion based on these estimated vs actual amounts. Additionally, entering the contract amount, either as a fixed amount or percentage of gross profit, allows for reporting of over/under billed amounts as well as defaults for billing, etc.
Estimates can be entered as a total for the entire job or as individual estimates for each job phase, which the system then totals to create an overall job estimate.
NOTE: This is the estimate screen that comes with the Job Costing module. For more detailed estimates using specific inventory parts, labor factors and bid templates, ask about our Material Estimation module.
